The Magical World of Disney

I'm sure most of you already know that we are on a vacation in DW. We are having a great time. We have spent 2 days in Magic Kingdom and today we rested and went to Downtown Disney. I am just now getting a chance to post some of our trip. Hopefully I can post more later.

Gone Mouse Huntin'!

We are off to Disney World!!!!!

We have been looking forward to this trip for quite a while. We are flying out of Memphis tomorrow at around 1:30p.m. We will be home next Wednesday, June 4th. I hope to blog some of our pics along the way, but we'll see if that actually happens.

Please keep us in your prayers as we travel. We will be flying with both girls-they nor Brant and I have never flown. So we are all a little nervous about that. My mom is going with us and she has flown alot so that will help.

Birthday Time!

Today we celebrated two birthdays. My friend Meredith's little boy Thomas celebrated his first birthday and Brant celebrate the big 30!!!!

We went to Thomas' party this afternoon. The kids had a great time and were completely worn out afterward. Tonight we grilled steaks and made Brant a birthday cake to celebrate his birthday. It was a fun day.

Time Out Times 2!

This afternoon Halle was put in time out for acting up at the store. I know it is hard to believe that my angel would ever be in time out :) - LOL

While she was sitting in time out Kennadi began to miss her and ask "Where's Halle?" When she found her she decided it must be cool to sit like that since Halle was. So she placed her self in time out too. She thought it was such a terrific time! She will probably become familiar with time out pretty soon too. She was quite the monkey at the store as well.

Yes, today I was one of those moms who could not control their wild children at the store. You know the ones I would have rolled my eyes about once upon a time....before I was a mom! I hope some of you moms can relate! One day I will think this is funny.

The Lakeside 32nd Annual Circus

Last Friday night was the Kindergarten circus at Lakeside. They have been doing this for 32 years now. It is big deal to the kids and the teachers. Brant and both of his sisters participated in the circus when they were in Kindergarten.

Halle chose to be a monkey. Courtney was a monkey when she was in the circus and Halle wore the exact outfit that Courtney wore. Shirley kept it all these years. So, I thought that was pretty special. Brady was a dog.

The circus was a big success and the kids had a great time. This is their last week of school. I can't believe Kindergarten is already over!

Career Day

Today is Career Day at Halle's school. They get to dress up like what they want to be when they grow up. Halle went dressed as a vet. She LOVES animals of any kind, so that is a perfect career for her.

Halle and "Her Girls"

Like I said before, Halle has been blessed to be in a great class this year. All of the kids are great. In fact, Ms. Bryant says this is her best class she has ever had.

Halle has also met a lot of friends outside of her class. She loves to play with everyone.

Her are some shots of some of her classmates. I took these the other day during track and field. The girls are all so sweet. They all get along really well. Who knows, maybe some of them will be friends of Halle's even when they are grown!

Track and Field Day

Halle had her Lakeside Kindergarten Track and Field Day this past Tuesday. It was a lot of fun. They participated in about 10 events. They were awarded ribbons for their participation. Halle earned first place in the sack race. She was very excited!

They all had a lot of fun. She is a part of a great class with a great teacher. I hope we are this blessed next year!

My Little Tee-Ball Player!

Halle has started playing teeball for the first time this year. She is really enjoying it. She is a good batter. She plays on Monday and Thursday nights. I love cheering for her, although she told me the other night that I am embarrassing. So now I am only able to clap and cheer when everyone else is :)

Kennadi loves going to the games as well. She will say "Go Halle Go!" I'm not sure what she loves best: watching Halle, or eating popcorn, suckers, and drinking coke. Hmm...I wonder!

Zoo Day!

We went on the traditional Kindergarten zoo field trip a few weeks ago. We had a great day. The weather was nice and all the kids were very well behaved. I was incharge of Halle and another little girl named Winter. The girls had a good time and even got to feed some birds.

I can't believe my baby had her end of the year field trip. This year has flown!
