My Babies Love Their Babies

Here is a cute picture of the girls playing dolls the other day. They love to push them around in the stroller and swaddle them up in blankets. Pretty soon I think our house will be overrun with dolls!

Spring Break

We have had a wonderful Spring Break this week. It has been filled with lots of different activities. We have spent the week resting and catching up with friends we haven't gotten to see much during this school year.

Wednesday evening we took our Children's Ministry from church to an inflatable jump place to play. They had a lot of fun.

Today we met some of my dearest friends from High School in Little Rock to play and have lunch. The kids-and moms-had a nice time.

We were very fortunate this week with nice weather. I guess it's back to the old routine of school next week!

Gettin' Naked!

Well, Miss Kennadi has learned to take her clothes off. It started a few weeks ago with her pulling down her pants. She decided to do this one day while waiting outside Halle's school to pick her up. Now she is taking it all off-and she is mighty proud of herself. You can tell by her looks in these pictures. Hopefully this is something she is going to outgrow :)

I guess you all can see that she is feeling better!

Easter, Easter, and More Easter!

We had an incredibly busy Easter weekend. We had an egg hunt at our church on Saturday afternoon. They had a lot of fun with that.

Kennadi was sick (running 102 temp) on Easter Sunday, so I dressed her up to take a picture, then undressed her and she had to stay home from church. Poor thing, you can tell in the picture that she feels bad.

That afternoon we went to my mom and dad's to eat and hunt eggs again! We were very tired last night after all was done, but it was a great holiday weekend!

I did take Kennadi to the doctor today and she has a virus that has caused ulcers on her throat. They said it was like hand, foot and mouth, but only with the mouth. Her fever is gone today and I think she is feeling much better.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend!

Halle's School Easter Party

Halle had her Easter egg hunt and party on Friday at school. This was also her last day before Spring Break. It was such a beautiful day and the kids had a great time! Kennadi attended this school party. This was the first party she had been to at Halle's school. I think she would like to be a regular at Lakeside.

Halle had a great time with her friends, hunting over 2,500 eggs (that this mom helped stuff-mind you). It was a very memorable Easter party.

Let it Snow!!!!

Finally a snow for the kids this year! Halle was so excited, Kennadi-not so much. She didn't want to touch the snow, or stand in the snow, or ride in the snow. She was perfectly happy standing on the concrete watching us enjoy the snow.

Halle got her long awaited snow day from school. It worked out perfect because Brant came in from school in St. Louis, so he got to spend the day at home with us. We played on the sled, threw snowballs, made snow angels, and built a snowman-or snowgirl rather! It was a great day.

Now I say...."Out with the snow and bring on Spring!!!!!

I hope everyone enjoyed their "snow day" as well.
